FAQ
We answer all your questions about ARTAS Robot.
The results of a hair transplant performed with the ARTAS® robot are not immediate but develop gradually over the following months. The transplanted hair typically sheds between 2 and 6 weeks after the procedure — a normal part of the follicular renewal process. New hair growth usually begins around the third month, with noticeable improvement from the sixth month onward. The final results are achieved after approximately one year, when the transplanted hair reaches its full length and thickness.
After the hair transplant with the ARTAS robot, you must follow some recommendations to promote healing and hair growth:+ Avoid touching, scratching or rubbing the treated area during the first days.* Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and lukewarm water after the third day, following the doctor's instructions.* Avoid exposure to sun, heat, sweat, salt or chlorinated water, chemicals or dyes for the first few weeks.* Avoid intense physical exercise, contact sports or activities that may cause shock or trauma to the treated area for the first month.Take the medications prescribed by the doctor, such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatories or hair growth stimulants.
The duration of a hair transplant performed with the ARTAS® robot varies according to the number of follicular units to be extracted and implanted, typically lasting between four and eight hours. The procedure is carried out in a single session, under local anesthesia, and on an outpatient basis.
