HAIR MICROIMPLANT IN RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY OF THE SCALP
INTRODUCTION:Follicle by follicle microimplant is an esthetic surgery performed to repair a cosmetic defect such as male pattern hair loss and to find the solution for androgenetic alopecia. This surgery has been successfully performed during the last decade.
New procedures have been developed in the field of reconstructive surgery of the scalp in order to replace or complement the existing ones (hair implants with punch; local strip grafts, free strip grafts; tissue expanders, etc).
